DnD Club starts today! Calling all adventurers!

News from Mr. Larson: Greetings Fellow adventurers! The DnD club is happy to announce that our first meeting will be TODAY September 14th! Due to the staff meeting going on, we will be meeting in Ms. Cook’s room (229) in Freshmen hallway instead of the library. We will start with a few words on how the club will operate, and then we’ll get straight to playing!

For those who are new to the game, we will have ready-made character sheets and dice and teach you everything you need to know. If you’re a veteran player, feel free to bring your own supplies. If you have any questions, email us right here! We hope to see you with your swords and spells at the ready!Calling all dancers — and anyone who’s ever wanted to give dance a try!

This semester, Padua is offering FREE dance classes right here in our very own dance studio! Classes will take place after school on Mondays and will be offered in six-week sessions throughout the school year. Our first session is Jazz, running September 14 through October 26. There will be a beginner class from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and absolutely no dance experience is needed. Whether you’ve danced before or have always wanted to try it, this class is for you! If you’re interested, Mrs. Plasterer sent out a Google Form Sunday night, so check your email and sign up!

Ciao Bruins! The first Italian Club meeting of the year is this Wednesday September 16th at 2:35 in room 126! Join us to hear what we have in store for you this year, grab a membership form, and stick around for some Italian trivia! There will be prizes for the winning team and a special treat if you sign up in Room 126 by tomorrow!

If you are interested in joining the Mock Trial team, please attend one of the two information meetings on Thursday at 7:35 am OR 2:35 pm in room 304. This 10 minute meeting will provide a brief overview of Mock Trial and the requirements for participation.  Veteran team members, please also attend one of the meetings.
