Men’s Ensemble Head to Baldwin Wallace For Some Professional Cred!

In your top story, Bruins, last week, the Padua Men’s Ensemble had a musical workshop with Professor Frank Bianchi at Baldwin Wallace University’s Gamble Auditorium. Professor Bianchi worked for 30 years as a high school choir director before starting the Baldwin Wallace Men’s Chorus. And he’s been directing that group for 17 years. He also formerly directed the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus. Special thanks to Mr. Morel for arranging this opportunity. If you’re interested in joining Men’s Ensemble, see Mr. Morel asap! It’s not too late. Christmas starts in October for music students!

Padua alum Ken Smith of CyberproAI, from the class of 2003, made a presentation to Mrs. Morgan’s AP Cybersecurity class last Friday. After outlining his career journey, Smith guided the students through a sample exercise, explained the importance of ethics within cybersecurity, and answered career questions.

And hats off to another awesome MedTrack opportunity! Veterinary students trekked to the Cleveland MetroPark Zoo last week to tour the veterinary clinic with Dr. Mike Selig. Students explored all areas of the clinic from exam rooms to operating rooms and even interacted with the animals at the clinic for various health reasons. Dr. Selig shared his career path and students even observed an elephant vet check and foot cleaning.

A reminder to ALL Bruins interested in joining BBN. There is a mandatory meeting TODAY in the MedTrack Media Center. We’ll start right after school and we don’t go past 3:15. See Mrs. Simna if you’re still interested, but cannot attend.

There is an Astronomy Club on Wednesday in room 208 at 2:30 pm!

Hey Bruins! Last week’s Face-Off Friday poll wasn’t even close. Almost 93% of voters said that toilet paper should be loaded with the paper coming OVER the roll.  Today’s poll might be a little more divisive: Choose Your Pokemon Starter!
