Class elections and newly named SLC President and VP kick off Spirit Week a little early this year!
Underclassmen at Padua Franciscan High School voted on Friday, May 1st for their class presidents, vice presidents, and representatives with new faces in the rising senior class, and fresh talent for the freshmen.
Pierre Lockhart, a newcomer to the SLC, secured the most votes for next year’s senior class president, with Vice President Sofia Yonan a close second. Rising senior class reps for 2027 are as follows: Melanie Cesa, Lorice George, Delaney Hovan, Tyler McClelland, Rylee McKelvey, Chloe Mouzaya, Jacob Obloj, Alivia Roschival, Bryden Sheppard, and Audrey Takacs.

Former class President Nathan Carlson will transition into a new role next year as President of the Entire SLC, and former Junior Class rep Gabby Marchak will fill Kendall Holter’s role as SLC Vice President. Nathan and Gabby bring a ton of new ideas and experience to the role and will usher in a new era of student leadership under the direction of Mrs. Simna, Padua’s newly named Director of Student Life.
In the rising junior class of 2028, CC Thomas will take over as Junior Class President next year with Bella Geffert returning for a second term as Vice. Rising junior class reps, returning for a second term, will be Gigi Albarran, Ava Behal, Mariana Bryan, Eliana Eid, Lila Forde, Diya Gupta, Cole Mangano, and Annabelle Shuman.

And finally, the freshman class saw a mixture of new and familiar faces. Congratulations to rising sophomore class president, Kacey Dukeman and Vice President Tyler Shepard. Class reps for next year will be Arianna Bolwin, Sawyer Bulat, Connor Fisher, Tony Galletti, Melina Haber, Jackson Meyrose, Daniel Payten, Anna Marie Speroff, and James Varner.
