Model UN (or MUN) is this super cool club we do at Padua where we pretend to be delegates from different countries! We get together with other high schools in the area and act like we're at the United Nations. We debate real-world issues and try to come up with solutions. It's intense and exciting and academic at times, but it is always fun. It's great for learning about global politics and current events. It also really helps with public speaking and negotiation skills, as well as looks good on a resume since there are also collegiate Model UN teams. Plus you get fancy by dressing up for the conference. Some people will wear full-on suits!
