Spirit Week Rundown 2025 is Out!!!

The time has come. Homecoming Spirit Week is NEXT WEEK, Bruins.
This year’s Spirit Week theme is…U.S. CITIES! Students should decorate their lockers/hallway
according to these specific cities:
- Seniors: New York City
- Juniors: Los Angeles
- Sophomores: Nashville
- Freshmen: Miami
ALL STUDENTS will have the ability to come decorate their lockers on Friday, 10/10 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and on Sunday, 10/12 from 11am to 4pm. Class Officers are required to decorate upwards of seventy lockers, but all students who are willing to decorate their own lockers or help with the rest of the hallway are encouraged to join.

Monday, 10/13 – Dress Down Class Color Day/Club Float Parade/Dodgeball Tournament/Homecoming Court Announced
- Students should dress according to their class colors:
- Freshman: Brown
- Sophomores: White
- Juniors: Orange
- Seniors: Black
- Faculty/Staff: Gray
- Club Float Contest: Back for its fifth year, any club is invited to participate in our Club Float contest.
- Floats should incorporate the theme of spirit week “U.S. Cities” with the ability to be driven or pulled by one student. Club float parade will kick off the DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT this year, and the
- The winning float will be announced at the Homecoming Rally on Friday.
- The Club Float Parade will kick off the Dodgeball Tournament this year.
Tuesday, 10/14 – Twin Day/Scavenger Hunt
- Scavenger Hunt:
- The goal is to find ALL EIGHT CITY SKYLINES hidden throughout the building.
- Identify the city and location of the skyline
- Ballots must be turned in to the G.O. by the end of the day.
Wednesday, 10/15 – Costume Contest!
- Report directly to the gym for the Costume Day contest and rally
- Costumes should be inspired by ANY U.S. City
- From a Hollywood Starlet to a Dallas Cowboy to the Statue of Liberty, there are TONS of ways to use CITIES to inspire your look this year!
Thursday, 10/16 – Rivalry Day: Recess vs. Retirement (Young vs. Old)
- Dress as a baby or dress as a baby boomer—will we have more of the “young” or more
of the “old” in our hallways?- Submit a photo to be entered into this contest to alwaysabruin@paduafranciscan.net
- Trivia games in lunches.
- Music quiz between classes.
- Turn in your contest forms at the end of the day to be entered into Friday’s “Let’s Make aDeal” game!
Friday, 10/17 – Padua Blackout Spirit Day! (BLACKOUT Hoco T-Shirts encouraged, but any black will do!!)
- Homecoming Rally – King and Queen crowning!
- This will be our traditional Homecoming Rally with performances, presentations, Club Float Champion, top Spirit Week point winners, best lockers, favorite rivalry day, Homecoming Court reveal, and the HIGHLY anticipated crowning of Homecoming King and Queen!!!
On Saturday, 10/18, following Spirit Week, the annual Homecoming Dance will be held in the Padua gym from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
There are tons of ways to get involved and spread school spirit over the course of Homecoming Spirit Week, so be sure to have fun and stay Fully Alive!
