Key Club Kicks Off the School Year with New Leadership

In April of last school year, Key Club moderators Mrs. Morgan and Ms. Blum announced the 2025-2026 leaders of Key Club. On Wednesday, September 10, these new leaders made their debut at the opening meeting for the school year.

Elected by their peers in Key Club, this year’s Executive Board roles are as follows:

President: Soraya Gakuru ’26
Vice President: Lizzie Tuel ’26
Secretary: Courtney Dunham ’26
Treasurer: Alex Camarati ’26

In addition to these senior Executive Board members, Key Club added a few new positions:

Social Media Managers: Avery Ziemba ’27, Olivia Morgan ’28
SLC Liaison: Nathan Carlson ’27
Club Editors: Maria Shrefler ’27, Cecilia Thomas ’28

President Soraya Gakuru announced at the meeting on Wednesday that anyone hoping to join Key Club must fill out this application link and pay the $20 due to Ms. Blum or Mrs. Morgan by October 1st. Additionally, Gakuru shared some upcoming service opportunities available to Key Club members, including the upcoming Dog Days of Parma event, a charity event with the Parma Animal Shelter on Saturday, September 20th from 1-3:30pm.

The next Key Club meeting is on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:35pm in the library.
